Kids are growing and changing so quickly, that updating family pictures is always something wonderful to be able to look back on! I love capturing the family interacting and getting all of the love and emotion shown on everyone’s face!

In my personal opinion, golden hour is the best. You’re going to get the dreamiest colours and it can really affect the final look of your gallery. I understand with young children, it may not always work. The shoot can be done anytime during the day. However, I would encourage trying a different nap schedule for the day of the shoot if possible!

Wear something you’re comfortable in first and foremost! I recommend staying away from bold patterns and bright colours. My favourite is brighter neutral colours. However if you want pops of colour, I encourage that too! Just make sure all of the colours go together.
